Movie & TV Production Spotlight 
2010-2011: 18 key projects were filmed in the state, 
including 7 films and 11 TV series. Movies: Fun Size, 
Young Adult, Thin Ice, Souvenirs, In Harm’s Way, 
Lumpy, and The Embryo Who Came in from the Cold. 
TV includes: Bathtastic!, Sweat Equity, Before & 
After, Decorating Cents, Hometime, Outrageous Food, 
and Four of a Kind.
Production Incentive: 
Snowbate, Minnesota's Film Jobs Production Program, 
provides a reimbursement of 15%-20% of Minnesota 
production expenditures to films, Canon Inkjet Cartridges! television and 
internet programs and other content. Snowbate funds 
are limited (subject to an appropriation of 
approximately $1 million annually) and are approved  biennially.
